“Lapsang Souchong Tea is like the rebellious bad boy of the tea world – it’s the tea that’ll make your taste buds swoon with its smoky and mysterious flavours. It’s the kind of tea that rides a motorcycle, wears a leather jacket, and may or may not have a secret stash of rock ‘n’ roll albums hidden in the tea leaves. So prepare yourself for a wild ride of bold flavors and a tea experience that’ll leave you saying, “I can’t believe I just drank tea that tastes like a campfire.” Just remember to embrace the smoky side, but don’t let Lapsang Souchong Tea convince you to get a tattoo of a tea leaf.”
“Lapsang Souchong is one of our most distinctive blends. The deep, smoky aroma and rich flavour make it a tea for those who appreciate complexity and character. It’s a brew that tells a story.” — Jamie Russell, Co-Founder & Master Blender, The Wee Tea Company. Embrace the drama of Lapsang Souchong Black Tea, a legendary Chinese black tea handcrafted in Scotland. This bold blend is known for its unmistakable smoky profile, created by drying the tea leaves over pinewood fires. The result is a rich, full-bodied cup with layers of depth and a lingering finish. Perfect for quiet contemplation, fireside evenings, or pairing with savoury dishes, Lapsang Souchong is a tea that commands attention.

I like to add some smoky Lapsang to my Indian tea (orange pekoe) just to jazz it up a little. It is of course an excellent product to enjoy on its own as well. Ordering from the website of the Wee Tea Company is straightforward and quick, and their delivery is always very prompt, even by Royal Mail.

As usual I love the tea I get from the Wee Tea Company. However I was disappointed to discover that there is 40g less in the box for the same price. While i understand there is a cost of living crisis I would have preferred honesty and not be left feeling that I been duped in some way (unless i missed an email?) This is ia great product if you need to put the price up do so. How much must it have cost to reduce all the packaging?
