A refreshing and bright Chinese Green Tea, with layers of flavour. Green Tea is usually brewed multiple times – so make the most of these large leaves. Brew lightly to enjoy the fruity and almost peppery flavours. Described as Gunpowder- due to the ‘ball’ like shapes the tea leaves are rolled into- it is a joy to watch them open up as they brew. Most green tea are bitter to me. This green tea is smooth but full of vegetal flavour, it tastes health, lol. Love it, highly recommend the Wee Tea Company.

United KingdomI normally don’t like Green Tea, but this one has a very different taste to others. I first discovered it whilst staying on the Isle of Mull, after a long walk and I think it is one of the nicest teas I’ve tasted. My order arrived really quickly too!

GBExcellent Gunpowder Green Tea whether loose leaf or pyramid bags
GBPolylactic acid or PLA is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch, tapioca roots, chips or starch, or sugarcane. This is degradable and is considered compostable. PLA doesn’t disappear overnight, it requires a good temperature to help it degrade. This is why we recommend that you put used pyramid tea bags into your local council compost and don’t just throw them in the garden.
If you really want to help the environment we suggest you use loose leaf teas.
We offer more variety of loose leaf teas and loose blends are always less expensive than our tea pyramids.
